Our Keynote speaker will be Kathleen Hunter who will share insights arising from her research on Dementia in the Emergency Department.

We will have workshops on ED Dementia Curriculum and the issue of Elder Abuse, Justice Issues and Dementia in the ED.

Two guests will give us insights into the ‘lived experience’ of dementia in the ED and we will hear and discuss emerging innovations from Behavioral Supports Ontario and the Ontario Dementia Strategy of the importance to GEM practice.
